How many times have you been asked to be kind to others, or better yet, have you asked your children or family members to be kind? Then why is it that most of us find it difficult to be kind to ourselves? We tend to be our harshest critic. What if the ushering in of the new year could usher in a kindness to self? Most people find self-criticism an almost automatic thought. What would it be like to give yourself at least one complement a day? Complementing a part of your body that you especially like, or something you did that day that fed your soul? Let’s move towards self kindness, self-acceptance, self-compassion one complement at a time.
