Sports Nutrition

There is an integral relationship between what our bodies are able to do and the kinds of food we eat. Over time, Lisa’s passion for sports nutrition led her to counsel athletes at the Atrium Club. Eventually, she became the Director of Nutrition at Altheus Health & Sport, while also working as a nutritionist in the office of a leading NY Sports Medicine physician. Now, she brings her extensive expertise in sports nutrition to her own practice, where she helps athletes of all levels optimize their performance through proper nutrition.

Sports Nutrition: Fueling Performance and Recovery

Whether you are an occasional exerciser, a weekend warrior, a school athlete, or even a triathlete, we can help you design a customized plan that aligns with your specific dietary needs. By taking into account your activity level, fitness goals, and nutritional requirements, we create a strategy that supports peak athletic performance.

Furthermore, we address both pre-event and post-event nutritional needs as essential components of our approach. In addition, we provide clear intake guidelines to help you sustain energy and endurance during the actual athletic events. By integrating these strategies, we ensure that your nutrition plan enhances both recovery and overall performance.
