Our Emotion-Triggered Eating™ program focuses on getting to the root of the reasons why people use food to comfort and self-soothe—emotional, psychological, and physical—and provides practical, personalized guidance to help clients heal their relationship with food.

Many people ask us how to overcome emotional eating, but not all emotional eating is a problem.

Understanding and Transforming Emotion-Triggered Eating™

Food is often associated with joy, celebration, and connection. The challenge comes when eating becomes an automatic reaction to stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. Unlike the broad term emotional eatingEmotion-Triggered Eating™ pinpoints the direct link between life’s stressors and unbeneficial eating habits. Triggers—whether a tough day at work, personal frustrations, or unresolved tension—can leave us reaching for food without even realizing it.

But here’s the good news: once we recognize these patterns, we can start to shift them. Food is one way to cope, but it doesn’t have to be the only way.  By addressing individual needs and patterns, we empower clients to redefine their connection with food on their own terms, moving from automatic, stress-driven eating to a more conscious and fulfilling approach.
